July 27, 2013 - Rich and refined, with white peaches, tea and a bit of citrus among the many complex flavors noted. We cruised through 3 bottles among the 6 of us before moving onto the reds.

1/7/14, 3:10 PM - Wow! congratulations! this is not a wine readily available. I did not think it was known even outside Italy.
The "Petracine" is a very characteristic piedmont white wine, the Riesling is very rare vine in Langhe.
Also "Bricco delle Viole" is a beautiful Barolo. Aldo Vajra produces fantastic wines, he's a great wine maker.
    Ciao from Italy

1/7/14, 5:14 PM - I had this in St. Tropez, so quasi-Italy if you will. I very much agree re: the full Vajra lineup. Thanks very much for taking the time to comment.

1/8/14, 6:34 AM - Thanks to you, for me it is always a pleasure to talk and read about wine.
Also, I feel proud when I read that Italian wine is drunk and is appreciated in the United States. Cheers!
    Bye bye,
