  Initially shy nose. Then Campari-like herbal notes appears, joined by inviting hints of ripe red fruit (redcurrant, cherry) and rose petals. Dry on the palate with mouth-puckering tannins and high level of acidity. Full-bodied. Oak-related sweet-spice and mocha on the finish. For now somewhat introvert and slightly out of tune, but cellaring for 3 to 5 years could prove very rewarding.
