August 17, 2013 - Drank at a restaurant which served us the 2011 vintage while the 2012 is already long time on the market,
so I am not sure about the provenance. This is a sturdy wine that is capable to withstand less than perfect
storing conditions but the wine had lost fruit and was mostly nutty in character. Not bad but I think there are
better bottles around. Not an aromatic wine in style, rather a wine of texture and minerality.

8/20/13, 5:55 AM - I fully agree with your note but can assure you that it was not a bottle problem, but rather the fact that this vintage is currently undergoing an awkward phase, revealing very little fruit even by Santorini standards as I have noticed recently. I hope it will "wake up" again to reveal a nice secondary character for which Santorini wines are quite famous.
