September 19, 2013 - Slow ox for about an hour than drank over the course of another hour. Nose of lemon zest and some floral elements. Medium-weight. Oak was noticeable but something short of vanilla. lemon and some weightier tropical flavors. Really nicely done but definitely more fruit and less mineral than I would have expected (my 1st Rhys Chard). Probably better in 3 years when the oak has receded a bit further.
