August 26, 2013 - Iconic wine, the oldest average vine age in the DRC holdings. (62 years old)It IS a good wine, but the price is way TOO high. 4000 USD per bottle? Come on! I'm not a billionaire, but I am fortunate that I had the chance to taste this wine. Personally speaking it was not as good as 2005 Louis Latour Montrachet for the sake of concentration, it was slightly watery in the finish. But the nose was superb, the balance as well as the body. I'm looking forward to drinking the legendary 1986, could I have the chance before I die?
