  October 25, 2013 - Wow - textbook Bordeaux! Drinking beautifully now. The nose is really stunning, frankly the best Cantemerle nose I've experienced. Earth, fruit, a hint of mint and then you get more forest floor and leather. The palate has gained weight and softened since last tried. This really coats your mouth filling it with plenty of fruit restrained by ample but supple tannins and acidity. They say there are no great wines, just great bottles, well, this was the best Bordeaux of the year for me - a total surprise.
