  July 6, 2013 - A similar appearance to Valdegatiles drunk before showing a dark inky core and violety rims. The aromas are concentrated showing dark cherries, plums, blackberries, licorice, roasted meats, graphite, cedar, incense, scorched earth, hints of vanilla. A bit more austere on the palate showing dark cherries, plums, blackberries, licorice on the attack that show a slightly simple midpalate filled with dark chocolate, roasted meats, and a slight earthy note. The finish is of moderate plus length showing cherries, plums, blackberries, Indian spices, crushed stones, vanilla, and very chewy fine grained tannins. A tightly wound full bodied wine that is very elegant, concentrated, with an impressive structure, though it lacks a bit more depth compared to Valdegatiles.
