  November 13, 2013 - Dark purple, but violet rim. Nose a bit muted, more red fruit than black. Light - to medium -bodied, sour cherry on the palate, not showing the opulence of fruit which is atypical of the vintage. Tanins a bit rough, finish slightly chalky, sour and bitter. A bit disappointing given the high expectations after reading other tasting notes. Glad that this is my only bottle, there is much better value to be found in the same vintage. Drinkable, but not at this price.
