  November 17, 2013 - A translucent wine with a dark core and bright purple hues on the border, it exhibits a perfumed nose filled with blackberries, raspberries, cherries, floral notes, incense, mint, and sweet spices. A fresh mid bodied wine with intense flavors, it shows fruity bramble flavors on entry along with strawberries and sour cherries. The midpalate comes to life with intense acidity that is discreetly hiding behind flavors of licorice, currants, and dark chocolate. The finish is of long length with spices, tangy minerality, small hints of vanilla, and sappy tannins. This wine shows its pedigree, although its rich in fruit the acidity balances the whole package, drinking beautifully now but it can age for a few years more.
