  November 26, 2013 - When is a Merlot like a fine aged California Cabernet? When Robert Foley does it. Deep garnet with just the slightest hint of bricking. Rich, ripe nose of black cherry, other black fruit, cassis and vanilla. Full body, sweet ripe fruit and cream. Could not be in a better place as it ages out of it drinking window. Only drawback is the tannins are fully resolved which shortens the otherwise spicy finish.
