  November 29, 2013 - Extremely earthy and slatey, but this is more dry than off-dry and has a grassy edge I associate with Sauvignon blanc. I like Lauer's interpretation of feinherb much more. Was a bit nonplussed by this.

  5/17/15, 5:41 PM - If this is the first Selbach Oster for you, I expect after a few more you will see how different the style that Johannes Selbach makes on the Mosel from that which Florian Lauer makes on the Saar. And, perhaps, see that there is a place for both of them.
