December 14, 2013 - Decanted 7 hours prior to tasting. Day one was dark and brooding with gamy, beef au jous, darkly roasted coffee flavors, imposing, even unsettling with its deep, mysterious palate and strong acid core. Day 2 was friendlier with red and dark fruits at the forefront, impeccable balance. I am new to this winery, but what a ride this wine offered. Wow.

12/14/13, 1:46 PM - Other than their PB Wines, I have only had the QED, but I have heard the Creative Impulse is a life changer. I am part of the WA custom crush CT project, so will have a supply of Syrah made by them for the future. Their wines are not cheap, but you get what you pay for!
