  May 6, 2005 - Mineral and stone on the nose to start the wine may have been a bit too cold at first. The fruit didn't come out until served with food and then the fruit exploded on the senses. Apricot and some pear flesh accent. Wine coats the tongue and goes down smooth. A good amount of acidity and paired well with our food. My first Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc but definitely not the last.
  
  Served with Lemon-mint bulger risotto and garlic shrimp followed by fromage d'affinois.
