  January 3, 2014 - Ripe wild strawberries on the nose, on the palate good acidity but showing the vintage character somewhat with some blackcurrant/cassis ripeness. Perhaps just a little heat. Tannins seem soft but acidity gives it freshness. Will not touch another for at least 3 years or so.
