Community Tasting Note

January 11, 2014 - At first, the notes of oxidation were overpowering, but with a good hour in the glass they faded into the background allowing notes of powdered wet granite, fig newton, pears in syrup, honeysuckle, under-ripe apple, marzipan, layer after layer of unctuous, viscous fruits and flowers, constantly evolving. Rich and broad on the palate, with stone fruits, minerals, and echoes of all the aromas and more. The finish is an entire quarry of crushed rocks and lemon custard which goes on and on. Very cool stuff - a gift from a customer.
