  February 8, 2014 - Tasted at Spring Open House. 92+ Very unique wine. The color sticks out - like a cool vintage oregon pinot - red, transparent, clear. Has awesome aromatics. For what the visuals provided, I was really suprised by the power. The fruit had a certain focus to it. Has plenty of backbone, making me suspect this wine needed a good decant to show so well. Its similar to the 2010 version in many ways, but also different - hard to describe - a thinking man's wine.
