  February 20, 2014 - This wine is both interesting and unique. Firstly the color is atypical and nearly like a dark rosé... if that makes sense? The ruby color is brilliant and clear and very light in tint with hints at orange coloring. The smells are cherry, intense perfume, cranberry, cinnamon, and raspberry. The tastes are cherry, sassafras, rose petal, sweet spice, cranberry, and raspberry. The body is light and elegant. The finish is perfumed and light satiny sheets of tannins with refreshing, tangy zing. This does go beyond the profile of your typical new-world Pinot Noir. I might like it more simply because of how very unique it is.
