  February 27, 2014 - A softer, more 'polished' or elegant style syrah with lots of violet and perfume on the nose and palate. Quite a bit different than some of Herman Story's other syrahs. In an excellent drinking window now and can go on for years. Again, I'm finding HS's wines are very approachable young but think they can easily age. Nice long finish and easily drinkable on its own or with food.
