March 12, 2014 - Clear dark purple in color. Clean nose of black fruit and vanilla. Dry, med acidity, med+ body, smooth tannis, big black fruit, vanilla, and spice on palate. Nice finish. Wow, this is a great wine. It is expensive, but truly is a comparable red to hotter climates. This wine will change your ideas of BC reds. Once again Bill sets the bar for other BC winemakers.

1/15/15, 10:01 PM - Rex, did you decant this, or pop & pour?

1/15/15, 10:07 PM - I decanted but only for half an hour. But I did drink over a couple of hours and it did get better. Enjoy!

11/13/17, 3:14 PM - I opened this four hours before our tasting and then gave it a one hour decant and back into the bottle.
I'd be curious to see how it would be after a day. It was great.
