  March 29, 2014 - Popped into the Decanter to test my suspicions, was 09 a good year and is Sarget still good value. On all accounts, yes and yes in my opinion. The nose was lovely and fruity (even when pouring into the decanter I was catching the aroma.) Lovely red berry fruits on the palate and a good balance of tannin and acidity. This will drink now (it matched perfectly with some cheese and crackers) but I'm hoping it will continue to evolve for some time.
