  July 16, 2007 - Pleasantly suprised by this pleasingly mature wine with lively bubble and a very smooth palate. Lots of fruit in the composition with apples and berries predominating. We had two bottles one as a before dinner toast and then with a complex shrimp salad main course with a very sharp sauce. The Roederer held up very well through the meal and pleased the four of us who were enjoying the wine..and food.
