  April 27, 2014 - Decanted for about an hour. Very little bottle sediment.
  
  Initial nose forest floor, dark fruit, leather, dark chocolate and some funkiness. Was actually a little concerned about possible low level TCA. This blew off over time, much to my relief. Hints of mushroom and bacon fat.
  
  In the mouth medium fine tannins and medium plus acid. Dark fruits fill the palette with hints of chocolate for a medium slightly astringent finish.
  
  Not sure this wine is going to get much better with more time. A good wine, especially at the price point.
