    June 1, 2014 - Aromas of red fruit with moderate fig and spice notes. Scents of raspberry, cherry and strawberry also mingle with hints of incense, clay and pastilles.
    On the palate fresh with bright fruit flavors of cherry, wild raspberry, and currant. Bright moderate plus acidity and moderate, somewhat astringent tannins present on the medium+ body. Additional flavors of wood, espresso beans, cassis, herbs and graphite. The finish is medium in both intensity and length with a slightly sharp and astringent finalé.
    Time may smooth this out but as it is now, disjointed.

    2/14/18, 10:49 PM - Still disjointed. This is a sleeper. Gonna really shine in maturity. So much wine here. Still so fresh. So tannic. So much alcohol. Very bold black hole of a wine right now. I want to wait and see what's on the other side...
