  June 27, 2014 - This wine smells delicious - reminds me of the VDP Herve Souhaut...beautiful lighted and light baked strawberry, little bbq smokiness and black pepper, toasted smoky cherry and lavender. high acid, good 20 second finish. That side, much less complex on the palate and little hollow and lacks some midpalate but for the price, very pretty and elegant wine. hints of green olives at best but not pyrazine bell pepper you get from cab franc. would happily buy again. easy drinking/going down wine. elegent.
