  July 15, 2014 - Nicely preserved, the best Lascombes I have ever had. The real charm of a "Margaux" style, extremely typical Margaux nose: white flower dominated, with some fur and spices. The mouth-feeling is racy, tender, a little bit nervous, mellowed yet structured. I have abandoned Bordeaux wines for a long time, but this Lascombes pulled me back, I still could not say I know really well Bordeaux wines because I haven't much experience of tasting back vintages.How difficult it is to have a wine at its peak!
