  July 11, 2014 - Medium to full body rich and muscular Rioja, glass coating long tears a real class act. Red fruits plenty of new oak, wood spices and resin. Entry has mouthful of tannins with bright mouthwatering acidity. Palate has solid fruit core, iron core, some American oak, and a tinge of orange peel. Needs at least 5 years for tannins to resolve, but it's got enough concentration to see it through. Bolder, modern and more structured than usual for a Rioja. 92-94
