  July 25, 2014 - Young and disjointed. Possibly flawed/ defective. First night revealed some nice smoke on the nose, but still a little hot. Tannins a little rough too. All this after a couple hours of decanting. Should have started the decant at lunch! Questioning the great "value" folks refer to with this red blend.
  
  Night 3 it was worse. Thought some time after decanting would help mellow things out. Nope. Not corked, but pretty dang bad.
