July 27, 2014 - Bought this on a flyer on BerserkerDay. Very impressed with both bottles of Ladd that I've had. This has an airy weight to it, having a good tannin structure without being heavy.

The nose is heavy with cranberry and a hint of spice.

The wine reveals darker red fruits with the spice characteristics. There is a steak of minerality and acidity. Some stemmy flavor. More burgundian in style that most CA pinots. The only complaint is that the finish is a bit short. Otherwise, this is a very nice wine, particularly for the value.
