  August 2, 2014 - Opened for 45 min, served in Riedel Sommelier Burgundy stems at 63 F. Clear garnet color of medium intensity, medium bodied with intense flavors and aromas of damp forest floor, resinous cedar, smokiness, floral violet, dark cherries, hints of sage and cloves. Palate was finely balanced with medium tannins and medium plus acid. Finish was strong,lingering for :60 or more seconds and quite pleasant and perfumed. Outstanding
