August 9, 2014 - Corra Vertical: Corra Vertical tasting. Very pretty, with lots of Mocha on the nose. After an hour or so it develops an interesting bitterness near the finish, before it smooths into great length.
On day 2 it has lost lots of fruit and is a little bit off balance. It is still a wonderful wine but has fallen from WOTD pedestal.2 people found this helpful 2,741 views

What was the wine of the day on Day 1? The 2004 you seem to suggest was excellent. I have always found this to be one of my favorite Corra's despite the fact that the fruit is from a completely different source.
I also agree with you on the 2008. Only vintage I own in Mag as I think it will be really killer down the road.
