August 15, 2014 - An exasperating experience yet again with this wine - pretty scratchy and tight with some green notes coming through. Time in the glass offers a modicum of relief and some black fruit starts to peek through. It is just not doing it for me, this wine.. I love elegant and perfurmed wines but this never seemed to have anything other than a mean, unforgiving quality. The kind of wine that lovers of fruit bombs hold up as an example of why they prefer big and brash.
