  August 24, 2014 - This is a classic example of the elegant refinement of the 2013 vintage in Austria. It's sleek, focused, and extremely intensely mineral. It shows a lot of depth after about 45 minutes in the decanter, but there's obviously still a lot of complexity buried in this youthfully taut frame. There is a lightness to the wine that makes it extremely refreshing, so much that it's almost difficult to put the glass down. I might have to buy more of this one; I think the potential is there for true greatness in a few years. It's plenty delicious now, but I will wait a bit before opening another.
