September 14, 2014 - Every element one comes to expect from Cayuse on the nose and initially in the mouth. But, it seemed a touch thin, petering out mid palate. Nice lengthy finish but that middle hollowness was odd. This is the fifth time for, this particular wine and vintage and this is the first time I have thought it was anything but lush and gorgeous. So not sure what to think. Drink up,or see if it comes around in another three or four years?

2/24/15, 6:58 AM - sauvfan - I decanted for two hours. I tasted it at first just out of the bottle and I made the judgment it needed decanting and I still think that was right. I think the next bottle, if it's anytime soon, I'm going to either pop and pour or decant four or five hours. Probably the former - it felt like a wine that was petering out.
