Born of a unique microclimate, the vines savor the intense maritime fog layer that gives the producer its namesake, Sea Smoke. Botella is dark fuchsia lipstick in color and sheds aromas of vine ripened strawberries kissed by smoke with gentle acidity. On the palate, the grip of fine grained black pepper coupled with the powerful expression of black cherry contrive symmetry of dew moistened lavender and violet petal. The silken texture gradually fleshes out as the floral elements and smoked dry minerality bloom into a layered complexity that continues to reward as she evolves.
