November 24, 2014 - Drank very well y/day. Opened it about 2 hours ahead of time. Wet leaf/soil, gentle red fruits, suave. Enjoyed it.

11/24/14, 7:49 PM - Met Guillaume D'Angerville yesterday at the Boulder Burgundy festival (a mini Paulee) and we tasted through half of his 07/09's and all of his '11s. For me, extremely educational and your note totally resonates. Sadly, so does your '10 Kiser note. I have not tasted yet but I'm now worried now that 'precision' is getting traction in my preferences. This sound flabbier than the Kiser '07s that I am now working my way through. Many thanks, Tom.

11/25/14, 3:00 PM - I'm dragging the bottle to dinner tonight, let's see if it is better. Hey, when you say 'precision', help me understand what you mean. I'd dig understanding what's behind your comment,.

11/25/14, 3:41 PM - It's not a term I use a lot either. However, when presented with all 6 D'Angerville premier crus from a single vintage, it was both evident that each of them were completely distinct and had nothing interventional done to them, except TLC; at least in the sense that all 6 were vinified identically in a noninterventional style. Also, they were remarkably similar, so the distinctions came from precise, identifiable flavor/aroma and textural elements that could show through very easily in each wine. When you used the terms jammy, low acid, sweet I felt sad that the way you can tell '07 En Bas from En Haut might not be possible in 2010 (at least not now).
