October 24, 2014 - Crimson/garnet color. The nose holds back at first, but aromas of black currants, blackberries, plums, chocolate, and oak spice quickly fill the glass. This is an open and accessible style, with classic, old school restraint. The balance, structure, and sense of place are obvious here. Really shows the class of the 2010 vintage and may merit a higher score in a few years.
