  December 7, 2014 - 50+5+14+17+8 Beautiful golden color, aromatic nose of petrol, sherry, mushroom, baked yellow apple, and a nuttiness. This was smooth as silk on the palate, where marzipan and hints of spice also appeared. Body was medium+, acidity was low. Very complex. Alone the wine wasn't winning anyone over. Paired with French Onion Soup--it was stunning. Drink now or hold for a dozen more years.
