December 31, 2014 - Black core with iridescent purple meniscus. The nose is open for such a young Bordeaux. Wow! Blueberries, incense, pencil shavings, blackcurrant, black cherries, raspberries, dark chocolate, charcoal, seashells and cigar box. Youthful and proud. It stands head and shoulders above its peers. The palate is huge made in the modern style. It has a soft mouthfeel. It is multidimensional. The length is awesome. The tannins are massive but not harsh. Absolutely stunning. Coravin first pour. Drunk at 16 degrees. 1 hour in the decanter. Riedel Bordeaux glasses.
