January 15, 2015 - Sweetly fruited and almost jammy on the nose which starts out with super intense garrigue and frutti del bosco before setting down to the trademark strawberry and olive aromas topped with a strong top note of pressed flowers. Elegant and bright in the mouth with plenty of tannin, though ripe and rounded. Rather tightly knit across the palate, this benefited from aeration, reveling mineral, rosehip, and candied medicinal accents to the red fruit on the palate and through the long finish. Always a lovely wine. This was obvious to me as the Monvigliero.
