Community Tasting Note

January 17, 2015 - Opens with a heavy dose of funk that needs a good bit of air to blow off. What's left is a rather elegant wine, with notes of violets and lavender, red berries, white pepper and herbs. There's a terrific core of red fruit on the palate framed by herb and spice qualities. 90+ pts.

1/22/15, 4:04 AM - While I am glad I own three of these, I wish I had gotten them at the recent bin end pricing like some of you did! Thanks for the preview note.

1/22/15, 4:10 AM - I wish I'd have grabbed more than two at that price! I may have to send Domino back to see if, by chance, there are any left. TLV did not like it as much as I, but I don't think he held it in his glass as long as I and for his palate, it was too "French." Ha ha. Still, even at $40, this is a nice CdP, and a welcomed return to form, instead of the overly ripe CdPs that have garnered much praise from RP the last few years.
