January 27, 2015 - Very pretty and aromatic, with gorgeous notes of spice, flowers and pine forest on the nose. Full-bodied and rich, but silky in texture. Big and chewy, offering a tangy mouthful of ripe cherry and strawberry fruit, with plenty of chocolate, oak and licorice on the long, mouth-puckering finish. A big, powerful Barolo that manages to display a surprising sense of elegance. Still needs a bit more time though for the tannins and oak to fully integrate. Paired very nicely with Kerry's pork ragu.

1/28/15, 7:18 AM - Bam_Man, thanks for the review. I have four of these sleeping now and am curious to see how they mature.

I sometimes see a score like you have (50+5+13...) Where can I find a description of what the different numbers mean? Thanks.
