  January 31, 2015 - Dark red in color with an inviting nose of dark red spicy fruit and earth tones. Lots of energy and freshness on the palate it has darker red cherry and some plum notes with some spice and earthy tones I think from some of the whole cluster. It has medium weight and a nice mid palate with some lift on the finish with a bit of tannin and slight structure. This is delicious now and as good as any of my favorite appellation wines. Drink now with short decant or hold for 1 year for possible upside.
