February 1, 2015 - I've stored it well, developing fabulously. This bottle still with some age left to it, decanted and consumed 4-8 hour time frame. Rich deep, notes of chocolate and bacon. Medium plus finish. Looking to finish my four more bottles over next five years.

12/29/17, 10:09 AM - Sometimes I just private note bottles. Wondering if you've done that with any of these '02 Janasse since your Feb. '15 notes. I'm considering a couple bottles of this as an experiment with a "bad" vintage that "should be" past its prime.

12/31/17, 9:30 AM - Just adding the following to CT for the heck of it and decided to put into this comment thread. Before I used CT I had a little notebook for several years. From late 2006 / early 2007 a note for this wine! "Importer: Thomas Wine Imports (Van Nuys). Vins Rare $11! (normally Vins Rare $20). ! perfumey (sic) / violets nose and nice body. Worth >$20"
