February 25, 2015 - A dense, weighty and robust Pinot, vibrant and forceful. Notes of plum, Asian spice and concentrated cherry, smoky and ripe. Chewy tannins with no overt oak. Surprisingly good relative to my own expectations from past bottles not reviewed.

2/25/15, 11:16 PM - In what sense surprising? Because of the vintage (supposed to mature slowly) or the producer, or the vineyard?

2/25/15, 11:20 PM - Great point, thanks: surprising relative to my expectations from past bottles (no notes on CT). I appreciate the nudge and will clarify the review.
