  March 9, 2015 - 10 years in, this merlot is pretty tasty. Dark red in glass, a ton of sediment. We aerated into a decanter, decanted for 90 minutes prior to drinking. Rich black cherries, currants; mellow acids and balanced tannins; undertones of leather. Long finish. Not a fruit forward merlot. 14.8% abv; would drink soon. Served with shepherd's pie.
