April 11, 2015 - First true encounter with an old Champagne, and it's awesome! There's no bubbles (champagne ignorant here), but a golden elixir that offers a complex nose filled with fruity sweetness, creamy bakery and nutty notes. Acidity and alcohol is exquisitely balanced, and the soft touch on the palate makes you almost not wanting to swallow. Long and still lively. Simply brilliant! Thanks Isaac for such a fantastic treat.
