March 24, 2015 - Perfect bottle. But two other bottles out of six was corked.
Young, slightly yellow with a touch of green.
Nice bouquet. All the Riesling notes you want from an Alsace of this good quality.
This is one of the better Frédéric Emile I've tried.
I love the mineral in this wine. The mineral backbone is very distinct and along with the good acidity it builds a nice wine with an elegant touch.
This 2008 is a very elegant wine, but still with a generous fruit.
Quite long finish. Good balance. Finally I can say Trimbach have made a good effort ... so I will buy more of 2008.
But be careful with the corks!
At this tasting 6 out of 25 bottles from Trimbach were corked! And 2 out of 6 Cuvée Frédéric Emile.
