    March 24, 2015 - 1983 Ch. Talbot ( St. Julien)- (6/7) - 4th Cru

    Red with brownish-red border .
Fine fruit with plenty barn aromas and a little pencil sharpener . With a light whiff of cooked cabbage in the background , I suspect that this has an incipient cork error . The mouth is fresh , complex with lots of secondary / tertiary aromas. Lite tannins again . Hult between party but come gently back with some figs

    Red with brownish edge.
Nice Fruit aromas with some barnyard and pencil led. With a faint smell of cooked cabbage I suspect this had a starting cork fault. Fresh mouth-feeling, complex with plenty of tertiary aromas. Few tannin left. A bit hollow mid section, but comes gently back with dry fruits an a long finish.
