With two hours of bottle breathe and another half an hour in the glass, fresh, gentle aromatics of black cherry, pencil shavings, licorice, crushed tobacco leaf and hint of mint and green olive wake up your senses. The 06 Lalande has a great deal of good life in front of her, another 5-10 years of cellaring will certainly make it fuller and more complex. At the current stage, a good long breathing time could do, the medium plus texture, dark fruit concentrated nature and impeccable balance will surely please you with all the positives.
