May 11, 2015 - This has a very pretty nose of red fruit, earth and spice, all of which carry over to the fairly forward, mid weight palate that's showing really good depth for a village nuits. There's still some chalky tannin on the longish finish, but overall, this is drinking very well with just an hour or so of air.
Revisited at about 4 hours and this was really singing.1,498 views

7/5/16, 2:08 PM - That was May of last year and I haven't tasted it since, but I suspect 4 hours would still be ok. I would actually recommend decanting it and then tasting it at intervals, maybe every 1/2 hour or so, until you find when its drinking the best.

7/5/16, 2:20 PM - Thanks! I'm serving it at a wine tasting soon, so I'll probably decant it first vice 'popping and pouring", based on your experience a year ago...

7/5/16, 2:44 PM - I will. I'm going to serve it then serve an Oregon Pinot Noir - old world/new world (cool weather)... Same with a Crozes-Hermitage, then North Coast CA Syrah...
